O British Railways Baggage Car

The London, Midland and Scottish Railway fleet, or LMS as it
was more commonly known, operated the largest fleet of passenger rated
railway vehicles in Great Britain. By 1923, the company had embarked on
a massive standardization and replacement program that was quickly felt
by travellers who enjoyed a consistent, but wide variety of coaches and
dining cars utilized throughout the fleet.
