The necessarily limited size of the Swiss Air Force requires that all
aircraft within the force must fulfill multiple roles. The F/A 18-C
Hornet is an effective interceptor, ground-attack and air superiority
fighter which makes it ideal for the Swiss. It was license-built in
Switzerland from 1996 to 1999 and still serves as a large component of
the Swiss Air Force today. Kit features structured surfaces, detailed
cockpit and undercarriage, missiles and decals with special tail fin
markings for No. 17 and 18 squadrons of the Swiss Air Force.
