The Pennsy’s finest between New York and St. Louis, the Spirit of St.
Louis served patrons in speed and style. Following WWII, the train was
equipped with new and modernized equipment similar to that found on
the Broadway and other Blue Ribbon trains. Accommodations included a
variety of sleeping options, lounge cars and a twin-unit diner. By the early
1950s, operations on the train grew even more interesting as sections were
combined from New York and Washington in Harrisburg with cars from each
section terminating in Indianapolis as well as St. Louis.
Our consist includes a good assortment of the many different styles of
car used on this train with four different sleeping car designs as well as
the observation and twin-unit diner. The train will look great behind your
VISION GG1 or LEGACY Pennsy diesels. Add this classic American Streamliner
